question: how did you draw the lighter stripes of hair in his hair? :]

Hi! Thank you for add my work into your favorites.
For the lighter stripes I use an auto eraser.
I'm drawing hair darkness as possible (if the modele had black hair)and I do the lighter stripes with my electric auto eraser
That's all! ^^

oh - so you just use the black graphite over ALL the hair, and then just erase after?

hummm... I don't know. I don't think I'm an expert of art

Just take your time when you draw. Try to draw with a big size modele, use mecanical pencil for details and make it darkness as possible (it's more realistic)
